Shaarey Israel is a traditional synagogue located in Rockland County, serving the Traditional/Conservative population of Rockland and Bergen Counties.

Our Center is renowned for the family relationships among its members.  Friendship and warmth are ideals we strive to achieve, both in our religious services and in all our events.  We are a caring synagogue community that reaches out in times of need.

Children play a central role in our Synagogue life.  Our Hebrew school has a reputation for excellence.  On Friday nights, our children help lead the services.  On Saturday mornings, they are always invited to the Bema.  We urge  parents to bring children to services from their earliest age.

We have a vibrant Congregation that has been consistent in its values throughout thirty years.  We know who we are as Jews, and we have remained loyal and steady to our original goals and our commitment to the State of Israel.  This is the hallmark of a healthy Congregation that is dedicated to a Jewish future for ourselves and our children.
